Hello. The equation is written a bit odd.

If I seem incorrect, replace what you wanted to square root with= example: sqrt(16). Which would be 4.

So, if we are trying to square root -7 in this question, there would be no solution because you cannot root a negative.

Using imaginary numbers though, we get approximately 18+26.46i.

(-5-sqrt(-7))^2

(-5-sqrt(7)i)^2

(-5-sqrt(7)i)(-5-sqrt(7)i)

25+5sqrt(7)i+5sqrt(7)i-7

18+10sqrt(7)i or 18+26.46i.
