1. Cu2O+2HCl-->2CuCl+H2O

How many grams of CuCl can be produced if 3.75 moles of Cu2O react with HCl?

2. 2 KClO3-->2KCl+3O2

If 1.50 mol of KClO3 decomposes. How many grams of O2 will be produced?

1. From the balanced equation, you make 2 moles of CuCl for every mole of Cu2O You have 3.75 moles of CuO so you make 7.5 moles CuCl CuCl has a molar mass of 99.0 g/mole so 7.5 mole * 99.0 g/mole = 743 g.

2. (1.50 mol KClO3)(3 mol O2 / 2 mol KClO3)(32.00 g O2) = 72.0 g O2

Thank you so much for your help.

You are welcome. All the best
