using pythagorean theorm

10^2=8^2+y^2

100=64+y^2

100-64=y^2

36=y^2  y=6

now we find the side without a variable will call it z

(8+x)^2=10^2+z^2

(8+x)^2=100+z^2

64+16x+x^2=100+z^2

x^2+16x-36=z^2

now we use cos to find the angle then we use that to find the other angles and find our sides

in short the angle at the top right between y and z is 36.869897645844

and the x and y angle is 53.13010235 (SOH CAH) is what i used

using our angles we can find the sides now

z= 10

and using pythagorean theorm we get that

x= 10^2=6^2+x^2

100=36+x^2

simplfiy and we get that 8=x
