why does an inflated balloon shrink when submerged in liquid nitrogen but re-inflates when removed from it?

May 27th, 2015

Temperature of liquid nitrogen is 77 k ( very cold).. in such low temperature when balloon is dipped , air inside balloon condensed hence volume of air inside balloon reduces ..tThis leads to shrink balloon in liquid nitrogen. ..

again when it is brought to atmosphere its temperature increases to room temperature and gas inside again expands hence balloon comes back to original shape  .
