d is both diagonal of the square and diameter for the circle. It is equal to 3sqrt(2) * 2 = 6sqrt(2)

formula for d: d = P/(2sqrt(2)), from here P = d*2sqrt(2)

P = 6sqrt(2)*2sqrt(2) = 24 cm^2
