Represented Cultures
The movie is set up in early America. It does not have true protagonists or antagonist but
reflects the way of life in the United States in those early years. This movie mainly depicts the
life of slaves during those early times. It shows how slaves interacted with their master and the
kind of things that they could do and those that they could not. The slaves were taken from
Africa to the American continent through the Atlantic Ocean.
