why were the soviets disappointed at the end of ww2 ( after being victorious on the allied side)?

The Soviet defeat of Nazi Germany has evoked strong emotions on the streets of the Russian capital. The Soviet Union paid the greatest cost (despite the victory of allied side)with upwards of 27 million killed, almost a quarter of the population, and for the past 70 years May 9 marked the end of the war and a day to pay tribute to the sacrifices to a now fading generation.
