To solve this, you can actually just treat the >_ as an equals sign.

In doing so you first add 4 to each side to get rid of the -4 on the left and have the -5y by itself, since it contains the variable you are solving for.

The new equation would be -5y >_ -30

Then you divide both sides by -5 to get y by itself.

The answer is y >_ 6 because when you divide a negative number by a negative you get a positive number.
