The Product of 2 Consecutive Integers is 1122. What are the Numbers?

I need to show work by finding the solution to this problem while using quadratic applications.

1122=x(x+1) since it is 2 consecutive numbers  x is our initial number and x+1 is the number after x and they are multiplied together

multiply out 1122=x^2+x

0=x^2+x-1122 now we factor it out and get (x=33, x=-34) when factoring you are looking for a number that multiplies into -1122 and adds to 1 so (x-33)(x+34) is the factored form

now because a quadratic is symmetrical the product of 2 consecutive integers could be 33,34 or -33,-34. Hope this helps
