    [u05d1] Unit 5 Discussion 1

    Teamwork in Discussions

According to Peterson and Seligman (2004), teamwork and social responsibility represent a feeling of identification with and a sense of obligation to a common good that goes beyond you. At Capella we put a strong emphasis on class discussions as a way of learning through teamwork and from one another.
    • How are teamwork and social responsibility considered character strengths of justice?
    • How is doing your best to provide informative and engaging discussion posts a measure of teamwork and justice?
    • Class members who do not contribute much to discussions may feel that is their business and they have no obligation to actively participate. How does that thinking stand up to our study of character strengths of humanity?
    • What would be a humane way of encouraging an inactive class member to become more engaged with our discussions?

    Response Guidelines

Respond to the posts of at least two other learners. Responses should be thoughtful, respectful, and move the discussion forward by asking questions or offering different perspectives. Incorporate course resources into your discussion as appropriate.

Tutor went the extra mile to help me with this essay. Citations were a bit shaky but I appreciated how well he handled APA styles and how ok he was to change them even though I didnt specify. Got a B+ which is believable and acceptable.
