For each Group DB thread, write a 400–500-word thread that presents an analysis of the assigned case study from Hess & Cameron. Our reading this module/week explored the global environment and the unique challenges presented to ethical leaders when doing business overseas. With this in mind, read chapter 6 from Hess & Cameron as they looked at a manager who sought to practice value-based leadership in a typical business environment. For this discussion board, answer the following questions:

  1. Sarah exhibited a number of actions – large and small – that impacted her immediate environment. How do these actions reflect a leader’s values? How can leaders help develop a culture that encourages this type of approach?

The case that provided the basis of this discussion is from Foote Health system which a
critical focus on Sarah Brook who has made tremendous development within the organization in
meeting the underlying goals. Sarah Boik was appointed in 1998 to lead organizational change
through the integration of unique leadership concepts, which define a highly effective business
environment. Sarah was hired to help the company in decreasing the amount of time the company
tool to collect dollar receivables, which was more than 180 days. This a significant point of
weakness for the company because it was limited the ability of the company to integrate different
concepts in its development platform. The 180 days was very high where there was need to
incorporate a strategic platform, which would be adopted in ensuring that the company has a more
significant influence in the industry.
Sarah was able to utilize her leadership skills and decision making in creating a profoundly
transformed environment under which it was possible to integrate better outcomes, by the time she
was being appointed, she had only who were being tasked to revolutionize the system. She was
able to increase the number of an employee under her care to 41 with reduction of the total time to
