Last week, you submitted a proposal for the design of a two-day workshop to train managers on how to use effective feedback skills when delivering one-on-one performance reviews to employees. Design a 15-20 slide PowerPoint presentation that would be used in this training workshop (excluding the title and reference slides). Use the features of PowerPoint to effectively present the material to managers. Create a professional visual using various design elements, such as: background, color, font style, animations, transitions, audio, images, etc. Include approximately 50 words of speaker notes on each slide (a total of approximately 750-1,000 words). These notes are the a facilitator’s script. Identify at least three specific learning objectives for this training (making any necessary modifications to the learning objectives that were submitted in the proposal last week).

Your introductory slide must include a clear and concise description of the training. Your presentation must also include citations and references from the Blanchard and Thacker (2013) text and at least 4 additional scholarly sources. Your final submission should include: 1) the PowerPoint with facilitator notes, and 2) a comprehensive APA-formatted Word transcript of all slide notes/ facilitator’s script (a total of approximately 750-1,000 words), including a reference page.

Training plays a critical role in the organizations because it assists the target audience in
this case managers to go along with objectives. The purpose of the training is to ensure that
managers have the right skills to deliver the right information or messages to the employees.
The training focuses on the training methods to use during the two-day workshop consisting of
100 trainees. In the training, the core training method is the room set up or classroom method.
Classroom method is aided by the use of techniques such as lectures, role play, On-the-job
training (OJT), and web-based training. The training dwells on the importance of using effective
feedback skills when providing one-on-one performance reviews to employees as well as the
techniques to use while imparting skills to trainees.
Critical Components of the Training
100 trainees are subjected to classroom training. The reputable quests invited are
required to impart managers with right methods or tools of delivering one-on-one performance
review. Each manager is required to deliver a 2-hour lecture to the employees. Each delivery
covers a specific delivery method or tool with relevant examples. For example, a guest can
highlight personal experiences in the workplace and how the examples are relevant to the topic.
The trainers are required to subject employees to role play.
After every delivery, the trainees are required to be given with 1 hour break time. The
break is used to minimize boredom and allow trainees to apply the concepts learned in realworkplace. To ensure that the training is working as intended, the trainers are first briefed on
what the organization wants from the training (Silberman & Biech, 2015). The trainers are
required to be lively and avoid content that may polarize the trainees on the racial diversity.
The layout of the Training
In every day, the training program covers eight specific areas that relate to the training.

Each specific area is dealt with by each guest or trainer invited. In total, sixteenth specific areas
will be covered. To improve the level of interaction between trainees and trainers, trainers are
urged to give room for questions. Questions are important because it helps trainers to
understand areas which trainees require serious intervention. Therefore, the general layout
should be open to all the stakeholders to feel involved in the training.
Content and Importance of the Training
The training session entails the significance of providing one-on-one performance
reviews. It also focuses on how managers can help employees to adjust and improve their
performance. The application of real-life examples provides trainees an opportunity to
understand the importance of learning from mistakes and appreciating insights that leaders or
departmental managers provide (Silberman & Biech, 2015). The two-day workshop session
provides the managers with the opportunity to interact with the trainees so that they can
appreciate the roles they play in the organization.

Really helpful material, saved me a great deal of time.
