The average cost for two people to go to a movie is \$24.  The standard deviation is \$4.  Assume the cost is normally distributed. Find the probability that at any given theater, the cost will be more than \$26 for two people to go to the movie.  What is the probability that at any given theater, the cost will be more than \$26 for two people to go to a movie?

\$24 the S.d. is \$4 \$26  which is 0.5 S.d. away so now we have to use the table for standard deviations to get our probability. so at 0.5 .6915 is less than that but now we need to find more so 1-.6915 = .3085 which is 30.85% is our probaiblity that our theater will be more than \$26
