The area between z = 0 and z = 1.95 is?

Find the area under the standard normal distribution curve between z = 0 and z = 1.95.

so what you do is find the z value for 1.95 and 0

now 0 is a special number which it is .5

and 1.95 is 0.9738.

now to find the area between the two values you take the one more to the right or the greater value in this case and subtract it from the smaller one. 0.9738-.5=.4738

.4738 is the answer

Now why i did that is because each z value gives the area from that point all the way too the left so to find the area inbetween similar to finding the area to the right of a point we take the bigger one and subtract it from the smaller one.
