These organisations’ senior management seems to be taking advantage of their position in the corporate world to gain a lot of financial benefits for themselves as well as the companies. Their careers, employees, the organisations, society and stakeholders have been largely damaged. Google Code of Ethics The publishing of ‘the google code of conduct’ is liberty that Google has taken. This document is public facing whereby it outlines some behaviours that are not expected from either board members, employees or partners. “Don’t be evil” is a simple phrase that the Google company uses as a code of conduct lead in the list of the code of conduct document. These simple words are used across the mission, fundamental beliefs that describe their, social, ethical and the sustainability of their environment. These words are used by Googlers when either they are serving the users. Though don’t be evil seems to exceed just serving the users but its main aim is to provide unbiased access to information. Also, it encourages the employees to look at the needs of the users thus giving them quality services and products to the level best of the company’s capacity. Generally, all these are focused on doing the right thing, by acting in an honourable way and following the law. The conduct of google additionally provides a good cooperate governance that is required at its level best and laws that are standard under which the company operates, its adherence to the control of finances and government regulations.
