The sum total of human genetic is called genome, this is the information contained in a human being. The information in the genome is stored as DNA. As DNA is a very long chain, it is broken up into two parts named chromosomes.There are 46 chromosomes in human, in the form of 23 pairs. this Chromosomes are supercoiled .Most of DNA appears. how they code it is said to be called exons, and a collection of exons make up a gene.
