RTA Servicescape Servicescape involves the environment and atmosphere that the services are being provided to the customers to affect their satisfaction includes employees. It is where the customers and the organization interact. The Servicescape of RTA customer service center in Dubai has several physical pieces of evidence that offer guidance to the customers. It comprises of: 1. Exterior design: ➢ The exterior design is the external appearances of the vehicles and the ships. The RTA has set some standards that the vehicles are expected to be designed. Every vehicle is expected to maintain its model and give a design that will be appealing to the eyes of the customers in Dubai and UAE. 2. Signage: ➢ The road is equipped with vital signs and symbols that represent various aspects of the transport sector. It is the role of the RTA to come up with signs that match the need they want to explain and help in guiding the road users. The signs need to be standard in that they should have no difference in them. The RTA have taken the responsibility of training the customers on various issues that are related to the signs and ensure that they do not deviate in any way. 3. Parking: ➢ Not all times that the vehicles are on the move, and there should be an area set for parking the vehicles. The parking areas are large areas in line with the number of vehicles within a given area. The vehicles cannot be parked alongside the roads; therefore, there is a need for a parking space. 4. Landscape: ➢ The landscape is the maintenance of the terrains in which the roads pass through and how they should appear. Therefore, the landscape is shaped as the roads are being constructed. There is a need to plant trees alongside the roads, railways to improve the landscape and the scenery of the roads. The RTA Dubai has ensured that this is well achieved. 5. Surrounding environment: ➢ The surrounding environment is building and other infrastructures. They set in a far distance from the roads to ensure the safety of the road users and the environment occupiers. 6. Equipment: ➢ These are the tools used in providing transport services. According to the RTA, it has approved that the equipment in the transport service is the vehicles, ships, drivers, the infrastructure, and the licenses issued to authorize the offering of such services. The equipment needs to be in condition for them to be approved to provide such services. 7. Layout: ➢ The layout is the way the equipment is organized to enable smooth delivery of services to the customers. The layout as set by the RTA requires that there be transport means. Therefore, this has been achieved through the construction of modern roads. Another layout is the inclusion of terminal points where the vehicles can pick and drop passengers at their appropriate destinations
