Where would the graph touch the x-axis for this function: f(x) = (x + 6)(x - 1)

x^2-x+6x-6

x^2-5x-6

f(x)= x^2-5x-6

(x + 6)(x - 1)

x=-6 or x=1

these are the roots of the equation. .....therefore, the graph touches the x-axis at both x= -6 or x= 1
