A. Introduction
I.

Scientific definition

It is a scientific process of the elimination of heat energy with the use of the Peltier effect
principle from a device by ensuring that there is a constant voltage between two electrical
conductors. The removal of thermal energy from a medium through the application of Peltier
effect to create a constant voltage.

History of thermoelectric cooling

The discovery of the phenomenon of thermoelectric dates back in the 1800s. The German
scientist, Thomas Seebeck first discovered the first concept related to thermoelectricity in the
year 1821 by identifying the flow of electric current in a closed circuit comprised of two
different metals and assumed that the effect of flowing heat was the same in the electric
current flow. Jean Peltier in 1834 discovered that electric current would flow in one different
metal and later discharges the electric current to the other metal within the closed circuit. In
the year 1854, William Thomson provided the relationship between the Seeback effects and
the Peltier Effects and described their relationship but still, there was no practical application
of these works. In the modern world, the therm...
