When opened, a 2.0L bottle of soda has about 3.93g of CO2 dissolved in it.  What is the molarity of the CO2 solution?

First you have to convert CO2 into moles rather grams. You do this by taking the amount of grams given and divide it by the molar mass of the substance. You get the molar mass by adding the mass of C + O + O

12.011 g + 15.9996 + 15.9996 = 44.0102

3.93 / 44.0102 = 0.09822495263707754522596737831853

Then you take the number of moles (0.09822495263707754522596737831853) divided by 2.0 L

The answer is 0.04911247631853877261298368915926 M , but with significant figures (2) the answer is just 0.049 M
