Write a cosine function, f(x), such that on one period a local maximum is at (-pi/3, 1) followed by a local mnimum at (2pi/3, -7).

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

local maximum=(3,1)

local minimum=(3,-7)

y=3+3x-6

y=3x-3

Thank you, but the local maximum is not (3, 1). It is (-PI / 3, 1). I cannot type the Greek symbol PI but it is PI, which equals 180 degrees. The local minimum is also not (3, -7). It is (2PI / 3, -7).
