Description

i need help with 3 parts in my portfolio, first is to fix grammars of a summary that i wrote. i will provide textbook.

second one need help:

•Reflection on Assessments/Exercises in textbook

•Description of a Job experience that links to an OB(textbook) concept (mini case)

The textbook and the slides associated with the text book have a number of assessments and learning about your self exercises. Each of these provide an opportunity to learn about yourself and your interaction with others.

•There is no real minimum or maximum for this. You could do technically do all them, and do so in a manner the exercise has no value, or you could do one and have it be of tremendous value.

•You might do many small multiple write ups, or you may do one bigger one.

•~ 5 Assessments and/or exercises is probably the minimum (though these would have to be well chosen)

•It is important that the Assessments are completed, but you are free to discuss exercises

third one need help:

•Connect current media stories to OB concepts

•Briefly describe why in 3-5 sentences

•The whole article should be included in the appendix

•One article can be linked to your group project

•Encourage you to choose articles from material that will be tested as it will help you study.

•The links provided on the next slide provide an indication of the type or articles that are acceptable.

•Read the links and see if you can guess what topic I think it relates to.

Profolio Executive summary I did Serena Williams case with my group, my parts was to link Serena Williams’s behavior and the empire’s reaction to trust, justice, and ethics. According to the case, at first umpire warned her for receiving coaching , her reaction was go to the empire in the middle of game and told him she’d rather lose then cheat, her behavior maybe with temper but we can tell that she value her reputation that she been building on for a long time, and she identify herself as have moral standard. Williams contested the warning and continued playing, but before the match was over, she had busted her racket, called the umpire a thief, and received two scoring penalties. she say is you are a theif, you steal a point from me, you own me a apology and in some other matches man could have done worst and they didn’t get the panty. men call other umpires abusive names in such tennis games, but they are not penalized as she was. procedural justice is the perceived fairness of decision-making processes, there are few element of procedural justice, include voice, correctability, consistency, bias suppression, representativeness, accuracy. when the umpire making decisions, the fairness of decision- making processes that he should be consider about. After all this case is controversial, I was going through comments and articles online, half of people support Serena, think the empire was being unfair and sexism, but the other half think the empire was fair, this empire have a personality of being straight and a serious rule follower. After we finished our presentation, our professor said something interesting, he said “the worst you can call a athlete is “a cheater”, but in the other hands, for a empire, the worst you can call him is “a thief”. I wish I added this sentence on my speech. In another aspect, being in a group and do a project together is also related to “organizational behaviour”. Job performance will show on our works, team members have to commitment to the group of trying their best to accomplish our project. Also each group member’s personality and ability decide communication and quality of the project. Since we were the groups that presented before study break, so we didn’t have much time to prepare, its also lead to some stress between us. But our motivation was to finish our project early and receive a good mark.
