Wendys will sell bacon burgers for d. Right now Wendys sell 150 bacon burgers per store per day, but they aren't making any profit.  They predict that 30 fewer people will buy a bacon burger for every dollar increase in the amount they sell a bacon burger for.  How much more should they charge for a bacon burger to maximize their profit?

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

assume they should charge x dollar more for a bacon burger to maximize their profit

she makes 150d per day.

(150-30)(d+1)=120d+120=120(d+1)

(120-30)(d+2)=90d+180=90(d+2)

(90-30)(d+3)=60(d+3)

(60-30)(d+4)=30(d+4)

they should charge $2 more to maximize the profit
