Estimate the probability of the event.Of 1950 people who came into a blood bank to give blood, 339 people had high blood pressure. Estimate the probability that the next person who comes in to give blood will have high blood pressure.

By the word "estimate", I'm assuming you can't just use a calculator, so I'll try to do this in my head for you.

What you want is to figure out how big a portion 339 is of 1950.
  339 / 1950

I'm going to round these numbers to make them easier to work with. We will get an approximate answer.
350 / 2000
= 35 / 200
= 3.5 / 20
= 0.35 / 2
= 0.175

The closest answer to our approximation is 0.172, therefore I would guess that to be the answer.
