John mixed 3/4 liter of yellow paint with 1 1/4 liter of red paint to make 2 liters of orange paint. To make a new batch or ;orange paint he used exactly 1 liter of red paint.  Using the same ratio, how many liters of yellow paint should he use to make the orange paint?

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

yellow paint = 3/4
red paint = 5/4

Ratio of yellow to red : 3/4 : 5/4 = 3:5

so, if red paint is 1 liter then ,
yellow paint = 3/5 liters
