Suppose we want to charge a flask with 2.4 g of sugar. We put the empty flask on a balance and it is determined to weigh 350 g. Enter the weight we would expect to see on the balance when we're done adding the sugar.

For some reason my teacher/assignment is saying that answer is wrong. Do you think maybe she messed up with the answer key? Also, my friend suggested the answer 350 because he says that the answer would require 2 significant figures instead of 3. Do you think that could be a possibility?

Dear correct answer is 352 g and .4 an ignored because it is less than .5. Also 350 can never be answer because balance weight shall include the sum of flask weight and suger weight.
