Introduction
Nowadays, organizations around the globe are known to have different employee who
come from different nationalities, ethnicities and backgrounds. The thing that impacted
organization both positively and negatively. Having diverse employees can be an advantage if
companies dealt with it in a keen way by having an organizational culture of respect and
cooperation among its people. However, in a diverse workforce, the issue of unfair
discrimination can act as a barrier for any individual who is being discriminated against to
develop and be a productive member of any company.
Discrimination has always been an issue that people fought to stop. For example, In the
80’s, it was common for people to witness a racist ad about dark skin people and this type of
ads were not perceived as racist until some activists took the initiative to disagree and have
their voices heard that it is a serious act of inhumanity. While currently, people take

immediate action with the help of social media availability to publish and criticize those
action and use it as a controlling force to push organization toward stopping such an act,
otherwise, the organization’s reputation will face a real challenge.
Discrimination can be based on a multiple set of factors. For example, some people
might be discriminated against by their nationality, religion, age, gender, ethnicity and so on.
Governments around the globe have been fighting this issue by enforcing laws that prohibits
such activities from employers and employees. In addition, huge awareness campaigns and
efforts have been published and advertised using social media platforms and television.
