Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

Base area of the blue rectangle = 11 x 5 = 55 cm^2

Surface of the both front and back side of blue rectangle =  (11 x 5 x 2) = 110 cm^2

Total surface of the x cross section side of  the blue rectangle =  (5 x 5 x 2)= 50 cm^2

Surface are of the top of blue rectangle =  55 - ( 2 x 2) =  51 cm^2

Surface of the both front and back side of  the top greenish figure = (2 x 4 x 2) =  16 cm^2

surface of the x cross section sides of  the top figure = (2 x 4 x 2) = 16 cm^2

Surface of the top side of the top figure =( 2 x 2) = 4 cm^2

So the total surface area of the above figure is given by (55 +110 + 50 + 51 + 16 + 16 + 4) cm^2,  which is 302 cm^2.

Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions.
