Hello friend...Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question :-)

let the total number of students in Lysha's class be n

if 1/4n speak Spanish,

therefore; (1- 1/4)n= 3/4n do not speak Spanish

No. of students who do not speak Spanish = 18,

this means that  3/4n = 18

if 3/4n = 18

         n = ?

         n = 4/3 X 14
