two cars have the same cruising range. Car A has a tank capacity that is 2.5 gallons bigger than car B's. If car B average's  43 miles per gallon and car A averages 36 miles per gallon, find the tank capacity of each car.

Car A's will be = 2.5x

43*X=43X...............B

2.5X*36=90X.........A

LET the cruising range be 100

Ratio A:B=2.5:1

Distance for A= 2.5/3.5*100=71.43

A= 100-71.43= 28.57
