Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Group the x terms together and the x^2 terms together.

$\frac{x}{2}+\frac{x^2}{3}-\frac{x}{5}-\frac{x^2}{4}\\ \\ =\bigg(\frac{x}{2}-\frac{x}{5}\bigg)+\bigg(\frac{x^2}{3}-\frac{x^2}{4}\bigg)\\ \\ =\frac{5x-2x}{10}+\frac{4x^2-3x^2}{12}\\ \\ =\frac{3x}{10}+\frac{x^2}{12}\\ \\ =\frac{6\times3x+5\times x^2}{60}\\ \\ =\frac{18x+5x^2}{60}\\ \\ =\frac{5x^2+18x}{60}\\$
