The creator had a reason of ensuring that one is living and thus there should be no one who makes attempts of bringing his or her life to an end apart from the creator. Many are the times when we undergo issues, challenges as well as life controversies that makes one think that he or she do not deserve to be living. However, it is essential for everyone to have an insight of that no one has a smooth life but we all go through life challenges and the variation sets in on how we handle the problems. Various dilemmas, controversy, and issues face individuals on trying to understand why they should live. Life Dilemmas Life dilemmas are those situations that individual experience and one have to make a choice that is difficult between two alternatives. In most cases, individuals are faced with the dilemma of whether they deserve to live or they should commit suicide and die. Various situations exist that make an individual get into such a position. One of the significant cases is the survival problems which occur when an individual is not in a capacity of attaining the daily needs. He or she sees as if there is no other reason for her survival and loses hope in life. Another situation is when an individual has been ill for a prolonged period without getting healed, and he Yang 2 or she sees as if there is no more hope for life. These are some of the situations that make an individual be in a dilemma of whether to live or he or she deserves to die. Controversies in Life A controversy refers to a debate concerning a given situation. In the topic on why we should live, the disagreements appear in the aspect of where did life begin and does life have an end. The debate on this gains its evidence from the various cultural beliefs of different communities, the religious belief in the creation story as well as from scientific evidence. These different sources of information concerning the origin of life bring multiple arguments concerning the reason why we ought to live as well as ways to convince other individuals on why we should live. However, each source has its stands concerning why and how we should live. Issues on How We Should Live In life, problems remain forever, and we are to adopt various ways to cope with them since it is not possible to evade them. Every new day comes in with its problems, and each person is expected to have his or her ways to solve the problems. One of the issues that we face on trying to understand how we should live is settings goals then we fail to attain such as the dream career that each person has. Second is being criticized in life especially when one has big aspirations about something which eventually leads to an individual losing hope for life. Other problems entail financial troubles, job insecurity, and end of relationships as well as having unhealthy conditions among others. Therefore it is essential for an individual to be aware of the dilemmas, issues, and controversies experienced in life, have a way of solving them and not to discourage them but have a sense of living. Yang 3 How Should We Convince Others to Live As much as we try to understand how we should live, it is also essential to consider ways that may be used to persuade other individuals to live as there are those individuals that do not see any reason for living. We may convince others to live in various ways. First understands that is making an individual not want to live and attempt solving the issue. A second way is showing them what benefits or the importance of living. Usually, people lose a sense of living due to the challenges that they undergo. It is essential to proof to them that some of the problems are common to everyone and that they are not experiencing the difficulties alone. With this, they will have a will of living. In the society we are living in today, there are groups of individuals who are desperate in life due to the challenges that they have faced in life. It is essential for talking to such people and showing them other more reason to live. By making them know that no one has a comfortable life and that we are all struggling may make them feel as if they are part of the society. However, the comfort should not be just word of mouth, but we should assist them in ways that will help them to avoid some of the issues they undergo such as searching for them an employment opportunity. How to Address a Dilemma in Our Modern Society As stated earlier, life is full of dilemma situations that everyone, especially in modern society, is experiencing. In modern society, dilemma situations are in a way such that individuals are facing a difficult time between to live or die. No single individual proclaims hundred percent that he or she is comfortable with his life. Usually, every decision which one opts to make has its advantages and disadvantages. For example, there are some nations still in a dilemma of whether Yang 4 to accept the aspect of equality of both men and women in various leadership positions as well as in employment opportunities.
