    Explanation & Answer

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

Visual Learning: Visual learners like to learn mostly through reading and writing their tasks.  To incorporate this into the classroom you can: 1.  Use charts, graphs, and other visuals to present information 2. Leave white space in hand-outs for note taking 3. Supplement text with easy-to-remember visuals 4. Invite questions to help students focus in noisy environments 5. Have students draw pictures in the margins

Auditory Learning: Auditory learners often talk to themselves, move their lips, or work through things outloud.  In the classroom you could use study tactics such as:  1.  Having students verbalize a question, 2. develop an internal dialogue between yourselves and students 3. Use the Socratic method and get students to answer as much as they can 4. Explain material before presenting it 5.  Use auditory games such as buzzwords or Jeopardy

Kinesthetic Learning. Kinesthetic learners do best with movement and touching.  You can incorporate this into the classroom by: 1.  Using music when appropriate  2.  Getting students up and moving during activities 3.  Provide highlighters, colored pencils, and pens  4.  Use tools such as gum, candy, etc. to keep interest 5.  Provide toys such as play-doh or Koosh balls to get them moving and interested

Adjustments should be made in each learning environment to incorporate at least one suggestion for each type of learner.  A lesson should not be focused only on auditory learners for example.  If you listen to music or view a video, also provide them with a (visual) outline and highlighters.  This engages all different types of learners.  You can improve your non-dominant learning styles by trying more than one type of activity from each type of learner.  By doing it over and over, it will naturally become part of your learning style.

Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions.
