Let A and B be subsets of a universal set U and suppose n(U) = 300, n(A) = 150, n(B) = 120, and n(AB) = 60. Compute:

(a)  n(A ∪ B)

(b)  n(Ac)

(c)  n(A ∩ Bc)

Thank you for the help but can you explain how to solve this?

Use the below formulas

1. n(A ∪ B) = n(A)+n(B)-n(A ∩ B)

2.
n(Ac) + n(a) = n(u)

3. n(A ∩ B^c) = n(A -B) = 150 -60 = 90
