or I solve the  equation n−5 . n^2+9n+7

Evaluate n^2 + 9n +7 when n =  -5

n^2 = -5 x -5 = 25, remember - x - = +

9n = 9 x -5 =  - 45, also keep in mind - x + = -

So combine: 25 + (-45) + 7

= 25 + 7 + (-45)

= 25 + 7 - 45

= 32 - 45

= -13
