Humans make a plethora of decisions on a daily basis. Some are involuntary biological decisions, whereas others are the result of conscious effort. In this assignment, you will explore the nature of conscious decision making with a goal of determining methods that could be used by individuals to manage their decision making.

Use the following information to ensure successful completion of the assignment:

  • Include two scholarly resources other than those in the assigned readings with appropriate references and in-text citations.
  • Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.

Write a paper of 1,000-1,250 words in which you explain the human decision-making process. Include the following in your essay:

  1. A description of how humans make both logical and risky decisions
  2. A description of methods that could be used by individuals to decrease risky decision making in favor of logical decision making
