Globalization is the integration of technology, market nations and States to degrees that have
never been witnessed before. Globalization affects everybody as we are able to connect with one
another across the earth. The failure of policy makers to balance the importance of globalizations
has led to the increased anti-immigration sentiments which means the future generations of the
affected community might face more challenges. For this reason, intellectual leaders should
focus more on developing policies that expresses empathy to others if we are to achieve this
successfully. Education is equally important in ensuring that globalization is successfully
achieved. Globalization revolves around science and technology, markets and bureaucracy.

Globalization is a project by the rich in order to get market and law materials for their industries.
It is fashioned to do away with other cultures and only embrace what the big boys want. To
some, culture is important and should be preserved.
Others believe that globalization will bring equity where the rich countries helps the poor to get
on their feet.
Globalization will help the spread of religions thus make a bigger percentage of earth dwellers
religious.
Globalization is taking job opportunities away from the people. People can come together and
more efficient machines are invented thus the human labor needed is minimized.

The treaty of Tordesillas between Portugal and Spain did set boundaries of the undiscovered and
discovered land out of Europe. For this reason, the explorers had to do some more work to

discover more for their nations. For example, the coast of Brazil was discovered by Pedro
Alvares Cabral in 1500 and the Portuguese took control of it. This movement and integration
contributes to globalization as people from different societies and cultures integrated.

A logical fallacy is an untrue statement in an argument. It leads to drawing misleading
conclusions and bad use of either evidence or language. Logical fallacies weakens arguments,
make you appear wrong or dishonest and make your audience feel as if you are considering them
not smart. Some people think that globalization is surrounded by such fallacies thus not healthy
for everybody.
5. What is a modernist view and what is a post-modernist view? How does it connect

Post-modernism is the kind of suspicion towards all absolute truth claims. It can also be defined
as incredulity towards metanarratives. This means that a post-modernist is not easily convinced
but requires strong evidence. Modernism in the cultural movement that originated from the
enlightment in the 19th and early 20th century. It happened in architecture, anthropology and in
many other original works. Each one of them revolves around changes in social and cultural
behavior around the globe. Globalization also tends to unite our cultures and come up with a
global culture in order to look alike.

I would define globalization as an integration and information sharing between people of
different countries, cultures, trading techniques and natural resources.

Cultural freedoms may be abused in the name of enjoying them. There may be a cultural activity
that involves dancing throughout the night that may sound a nuisance to another community. In
such a case, they are misused.
Enlightement has increased and bettered due to globalization. This leads to the rise of some other
issues such as skepticism. In fact, people are already questioning whether there exists timeless
and universal truths.
The involvement of the developing countries has not been witnessed. It is because, its power has
not been evenly distributed which raises questions thus non-compliance is witnessed in some
cases.
It has negatively contributed to war against terror. Cybercrime and terror attacks has also been
eased by globalization.
It has also been linked to increased moral decay in the society. For example, platforms that have
been developed for socializing are being used to influence the users towards sex misuse through
pornographic films.
