Q3 The bourgeoisie as Karl Marx called them are the influential middle classes. The proletariat are the ordinary working class people who are usually dependent on the bourgeoisie who have control over them and their labour potential.
These days it is more true than ever since it is the bourgeoisie and not the upper classes who have the legitimate power or the qualifications required for today's society, and the proletariat struggle to cope with their low wages and inflation.
