Description
Full question is:
Overall, should the US continue its hard-line approach to terrorism (covert ops, military acts, etc.), or take a more
soft-line one (diplomacy, negotiations, etc.)?
Absolutely NO PLAGIARISM !!!
These will be 6+ pages each (they can
and should be longer), based on a Chapter Question, starting with the
textbook then at least five other sources from any legitimate mainstream
book, journal article, periodical, or newspaper.
No
dictionaries or encyclopedias, especially Wikipedia, are allowed. You
must properly cite a source using the APA Style for anything that is not
common knowledge, let alone if you quote from it. The more sources and
citations, the better your grade will be (good social science needs
cited facts to back it up). I will also expect these
Use standard formatting (double-spaced, 12 point Times or Times New Roman, normal margins, page numbering, etc.).
DO NOT do a Title Page or sub-headings. Do a Works Cites section (which will not count for length).
In the book is just some basic info, mostly it needs outside sources and the more sources, the better it will get.
And
citation is extremely important as well. Do at least 4 or 5 citation

Introduction
In the 21st century, the issue of terrorism has been on the increase. There are also many cases
that arise from indifferences in power in the states. In some cases, some of the leaders who end
up losing their state of power are very bitter that they end up forming their resistance bodies.
Other countries feel they want to be recognized globally and to control important aspects. With
all the decision of need to have power, it has led to terrorism on the rise. Terrorism refers to the
unlawful intimidation of civilians especially to pursue the aims of some politicians (Schmid,
2016). Terrorism can either be within a State of with other countries who are like in competition
for control of certain agendas in the economy. Two models try to explain the cause of terrorism.
The spiral models (SM) explains that the terrorist act just because they are afraid to be attacked
while the deterrence model (DM) explains the motives of terrorist is always to harm (Kapitan,
n.d).
In countries such as Pakistan and Syria, terrorism has become the main order of the day with
various attacks conducted on daily basis. Terrorism is the main cause of death in many countries
that experience. It also inhibits economic growth in the countries. The acts of terrorism are
mainly funded by politicians who have an aim of achieving something (Wardlaw, n.d). In the
United States, terrorism has been carried out on several occasions with the accusation of control
of the world policies. The last one being the attack by the Al-Qaida terrorist group who were
based in Iraq. The group carried out a bombing in the U.S as a threat to caution the government
to leave their country and operations. The U.S government is the most powerful country in the
world has adequate facilities to counter the terrorism which has seen the terrorists being killed
and their groups disbanded. The U.S government in most cases uses hardline counter-terrorism
measures to deal with the terrorists as opposed to the soft line measures. The U.S government

should continue with the hardline approach to the terrorism since it has helped to reduce the rate
of terrorism in most countries.
The hard-line approach on terrorism has been proven to be the best in combating the
terrorism. Firstly, the hard-line approach helps to deny the terrorist access to the United States,
for this reason, it explains the existence of peace in the U.S with a minimal terrorist attack. The
U.S through their well operating intelligence system, they are able to determine the locations of
the terrorist before they access the borders. This helps the military to deal with them in advance
in order to limit them from accessing the borders and their limitations to movement in other
countries too. ...
