Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

a-f(x)=(x^2-4x+3)/(x-1)^3=(x-1)(x-3)/(x-1)^3

lim f(x) when x goes 1 =lim (x-3)/(x-1)^2 when x goes 1 =- inf

b- No

c- lim f(x) when x goes -1 =f(-1)=-1

d-we should have x+b=-1 when x=-1 so b=0

Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions.
