Gradient of the line  (2.2 - 0.2)/ 3 = 2/3

Equation of the line is given by y = mx + c, m is the gradient and c is the y intercept

m =  2/3  and  c = 1/5

y = 2/3x + 1/5

Find the condition that satisfy the equation by choosing any point in unshaded region:

I choose  (-3, 3) 

-3 = 2/3 x 3 + 1/5

-3 = 2+ 1/5

-3 < 2 1/5 

So the inequality that satisfy the above graph is C, i,e. y < = 2/3x + 1/5, since the line  is continuous.
