b. the time required for the 175th unit

Now at 100 it is 3 minutes so at 1 it will be much longer 

65%. the time standard is 3/minute after the 100th unit

so at 200 it is expected that 180*.65=117 so it is 1 minute and 57 seconds now since 175 is .75 toward 200 so .65^.75*180=130 so at 175 the time required is 130 seconds or 2 minutes and 10 seconds

Now for the first unit will be very long so we go backwards

.65^0*180=180 = 100 units

.65^-1*180=277 seconds or 4 minutes and 37 seconds. is the time required at the very first unit
