need to find the common multiple but i think its 2 but but i want to be sure

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

we can divide both 12 and 10 by 2

12/2 = 6

10/2 = 5

when we consider 5 and 6 there is no common multiple so the common multiple of

12 and 10 is 2

the answer is 2

Thank you so much i am studing for the math portion of the ged i have already passed science english and history this is the last test I really appreciate all your help i am so nervouse

example consider 18 and 12

we can divide 18 and 12 from 2

18/2=9

12/2=6

but common multiple is not 2

we can divide 9 and 6 by 3

9/3=3

6/3=2

but 3 and 2 has no common multiple

so the common multiple of 18 and 12 is

2 x 3 = 6

common multiple = 6

thankyou so much
