Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

log4(3X-5)=2 we can write this

3X-5= 4^2

3X-5= 16

3X-5+5 = 16 + 5

3X = 21

X = 21/3

X = 7

answer is X=7

we can write

   log a(b) = c

            b = a^c

examples

01)    log 10(x) = 2

          x= 10^2= 100

02)    log 2(x+1) = 4

                  x+1 = 2^4

                  X+1 = 16

                   x      = 15
