Elder abuse, like other forms of family violence, is not an isolated event; rather, it is a pattern of behavior that increases in both intensity and frequency over time. What is most important in your mind for an elderly victim - independence or security from further victimization? Why?

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

i would prefer security from further victimization this is because the elderly are weak and they need help from those who are close to them as they can't do them for theirselves since they lack the energy. that,s why independence to the elderly will further make their situation worse
