Linguistic discrimination refers to a national subset of discrimination in which an
individual or individuals are treated unfairly on basis of their sole speech characteristics, their
ascent, their magnitude of vocabulary or even their syntax. Language discrimination can be more
of the capability or the weakness of a person in speaking a certain language as opposed to
another. Due to the reason that linguistic discrimination is a nationally originated form of
discrimination, the same body of law prohibits it. Linguistic discrimination is mainly makes it
illegal to prefer using one language over others although there exists some exceptions. The main
driving factor behind the prohibition of language discrimination is the case where a person is
either fired, or hired, or forced to speak one language over another on basis of discrimination,
(Johnson and VanBrackle, pg.52).

According to title VII of the civil rights Act of 1964, the law offers protection of
individuals against anti-discrimination which is based on Nationality or race. Most courts and
