Introduction

The United States has 10 major constitution amendments that comprise the bill of rights.
James Madison highlighted the 10 first amendments, which highlights the particular prohibitions
on the state power, in reaction to calls from different states for larger constitutional protection for
person’s liberties. The founders identified the ability to worship and speak freely as accepted
protection rights by the initial amendments. The Congress is prevented from making laws
developing a bridging freedom or religious freedom of speech (ACLU, 2018). In addition, for
example, The Fourth amendment protects the United State citizen from unreasonable state
intrusion in their individual home through warrant requirement. The bill of right was highly
impacted by the Virginia Declaration of Rights. On the other hand, English documents precursors
like Magna Carta, Massachusetts Body of Liberty, The English Bill of Rights as well as The
Petition Rights (Wilson, 2017).
