According to Church and Burke (2017), one can liken the current change rates of the

advancements double every 18 to 24 months in the technology sector. The assumption has
proven right so far, and it affects digital marketing and business processes. The article states that
the changes happening in organizations move as fast as the changes in technology. The changes
get their drive from technology, either directly or indirectly, therefore, the repeat of socialtechnical revolution.
To illustrate the power of technology on organizational development, the authors refer to
the debate that took place in 2013 on employees using social media in organizations during
working hours. Currently, organizations support the idea to the extent of hiring social media
experts `to conduct executive researches, advertise their products, watch for external media
impressions, and staff talent. Social media offers vast business opportunities because of the
online traffic that accesses it every day. According to Kallas 2017, Facebook attracts at least 1.9
billion visitors per month. Compared to platforms that support professional work and business
only for instance LinkedIn and Glassdoor, Facebook offers a broader client base.
