Good morning Mr. McCall. Thank you for accepting my interview request.
Mr. McCall:
Good morning Ms. Moon. I’m delighted to have you here.
Moon:
For the purposes of my research please allow me to record this interview on the
tape. Is that okay with you?
Mr. McCall:
Yes, it is.
Moon:
Alright. I know that before becoming a manager you were a Biology teacher in
this school. Why did you change your role to a school administrator?
Mr. McCall: Well, I did not abandon teaching science completely. Occasionally, I tutor
students who experience challenges in Biology. My shift to this administrative
role was influenced by the need of a new manager who was able to guide the
school fulfil its new mission and vision statements. Having worked for over two
decades in this institution, I felt that I was the right man for the job.
