My current supervisor is a Manager and not a Leader. This is because he is focused and result oriented as opposed to a leader who is people oriented and shares focus with the employees. As a manager he also exercises his power over us and orders us around. He also shifts his goals and priorities in concordance with changes in the market dynamics. A leader would rather stick to his ideals. He also takes credit for everyone's hard work and tries to be the hero whenever the company is in troubled waters. We will always view him as our boss and not a leader.
